Marten Arthers was born 21 years ago in Zwolle. Now he is the Chief Engineer of the Nuon solar Team. In his studies of Applied Physics, he always had an eye for detail and kept good oversight in the back of his mind. This comes in handy for his role within the team. The Chief Engineer knows that all different parts of the solar car will have to fit precisely and ideally onto each other. This means he has to make sure that all problems are solved with the best solution possible. He won’t take “this will do” for an answer but will keep asking the same question again and again: “Is this enough to win the race?”.
