The Nuon Solar Team makes use of solar energy, on a very special and innovative way. The Nuon Solar Team is just like Nuon a front runner, by defending the double title on the World Solar Challenge. Nuon supports the team to reach this goal.
The technology to convert solar energy into electricity or hot water develops very quickly. Nuon has realised over sixhundred solarenergy-project in the Netherlands.
The TU Delft (Technical University Delft) supports the Nuon Solar Team financially and with in-kind support such as the use of office and working place, knowledge of specialists and the use of the windtunnel in which the model of the Nuna 3 was tested.
All team members of the Nuon Solar Team study at the TU Delft. The faculties of Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design and Informatics are represented in this multidisciplinary team.
