After participating seven times in Australia, it is time for a new challenge : the Sasol Solar Challenge South Africa.
A few weeks ago, a new team started to face the South African challenge. Six full-time students and several part-time students are dedicated to cross the finish line first.
The studies Technology, Policy and Management (TPM), Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Civil Engineering and Architecture are represented in the team. The organizational, creative, commercial, technical, theoretical and practical skills are important in the short timeframe and the technical challenge of this race.
Nuna7 needs to be optimized in order to face the mountainous terrain and to remain stable at the high speeds. The logistics surrounding the race are also a challenge because it is the first time that Nuna will race in South Africa.
Inspired by the history of Nuna, the team is keen to prepare the car for the race in South Africa and take the trophy home.
