The complete project around Nuna6 involves much more than just the design and building of and racing with the solar car. After all, a huge logistical campaign has to be set up to get not only the car but also the team members to the other side of the world in one piece. For that last part, we thankfully get help from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, The Netherlands’ pride and the oldest airline in the world. They give us 13 tickets back and forth from Amsterdam to Adelaide. The team lands in Adelaide in order to make an exploring trip up north, where about a month and a half of intensive testing with Nuna6 will take place in her favorite habitat; Australia. The booking of the tickets make the race seem so much closer! Our precise date of departure remains secret a little longer, but we are going Down Under somewhere at the end of August!
