Yesterday Laura Dekker visited us to see Nuna6. Laura, the Dutch girl that decided on her 14th to travel around the world all by herself by a sailing boat, is at the moment in Darwin. We wanted to meet such an adventurer as Laura and therefore we invited her to visit our shed. She was immediately enthusiastic and we made an appointment for the same day.
It was a nice and special meeting. Of course we’ve told everything about our solar car and we’ve shown our shed and Nuna6. And Laura told us a lot of her adventures. A lot of things need to be done for such a trip and Laura arranges everything by herself. As Laura describes in her weblog as well we were really impressed by each other’s experiences and stories. We wish Laura all the best and a lot of pleasure for the rest of her journey the upcoming year!
