Azur bezoek
9 april 2009, wat een fantastische dag! Niet alleen zijn we met het hele team naar Heilbronn, Duitsland afgereisd om de zonnecelfabriek van Azur Space te bekijken, maar ook hebben we voor het eerst officiële cijfers gehoord van de zonnecellen van Azur Space. Wat waren wij verrast toen wij deze getallen hoorden! Na een roadtrip van 5 uur kwamen wij aan in Heilbronn, waar wij enthousiast werden ontvangen door de heer Grein, de commercieel directeur van Azur Space GmbH. Na een korte uitleg over de werking van de fabriek kregen we een rondleiding door de hele fabriek, inclusief uitleg bij de clean room, een superschone ruimte, 100 keer zo schoon als een operatiekamer in een ziekenhuis, waarin de zonnecellen gemaakt worden. Wat ons betreft was de trip van 600 km zeker de moeite waard. Ben je benieuwd waarom wij speciaal naar Azur Space gereden zijn? Ben je nieuwsgierig waarom wij zo superverrast waren over de specificaties van de nieuwe cellen? Wil je weten waarom wij volledig vertrouwen in dit fantastische bedrijf hebben? Dan moet je nog even geduld hebben tot de perspresentatie van de Nuna5, waar wij alles zullen vertellen over onze nieuwe zonnecellen!
April 9th 2009, what a fantastic day! On this day the whole team travelled to Heilbronn, Germany, not only to visit the solar cell fabrication plant of Azur Space but also to hear the first official specifications of the solar cells from Azur Space. We were so surprised when we got the specifications! After a 5 hour road trip we arrived at Heilbronn, where we got an enthusiastic welcome by Mr. Grein, director Marketing & Sales. After a short review on the factory’s production process we got a factory tour, which included a talk near the company’s clean room, a super clean room about 100 times as clean as a hospitals’ operating room, in which the solar cells are produced. In our opinion the 600 km trip was certainly worth the effort. Are you curious to know why we were so surprised about the specifications of the new solar cells?
